(Washington, D.C. – January 7, 2009) Citizens for Energy Freedom, the grassroots movement of the Set America Free Coalition, will be holding its Energy Independence in 2009 conference in West Palm Beach, Florida, and Jupiter, Florida, on January 17-18, 2009. Co-sponsored by the Jewish Community Relations Council of the Jewish Federation of Palm Beach County, and the Florida Atlantic University-Jupiter Lifelong Learning Society, the conference will focus on the need to secure energy independence for America through the use of alternatives to oil in the fueling of cars. The conference will feature a gala banquet with bestselling author Edwin Black (The Plan) as keynote speaker, followed the next day by expert panel discussions on alternative fuels and training sessions on educating policymakers and the media on alternative fuels.
