Queen Elizabeth of Britain is acquiring the world’s largest wind turbine. When construction is completed in 2012, it will light up 7,500 British homes.
Just for comparison, the world’s smallest wind turbine can power exactly 2 LED lights.
I can already imagine the Queen standing at the window, blowing at her tiny wind turbine at night, as she watches over at the ocean, where her massive monument is spinning and swirling for her pleasure. “This is fun,” she thinks to herself, “I should get one for Charles as well.”
