The Diamond Light Source is a futuristic imaging facility in the UK that has the potential to create never-before-seen super-detailed X-ray-like scans of solid objects.
This intense form of radiation is called “synchrotron light“.
It is now used to probe into ancient artifacts and semi-preserved mummies.
